Toyota Prius Plug-In Challenge Aims to Help Charities

Everyone knows that the Prius Plug-In is the vehicle of choice for those in St. Catharines, ON looking to maximize their fuel economy. They are also beneficial to charities and non-profits, as it can help them expand their network further, and go a long way with their funds, as they often rely on donations. That's why Toyota is stepping up with the Prius Plug-In Challenge.

The aim of this event is to seek out local organizations in the states of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, and have them drive a Prius Plug-In for a 30-day period. Even though this challenge is taking place far from out St. Catharines dealership we still like to keep everyone in the Grimsby, Burlington and Oakville area up to date with world-wide Toyota news and events. The challenge for each of these groups is to maintain the highest average fuel economy possible.

Why?

Well, donations from Toyota are on the line. The first place winner gets $2,500, while second takes home $1,000, and third leaves with $500 all to aid them in their good deeds in the area.

We'll certainly be interested to see which charities can come through, as there will be multiple winners, with the challenge taking place five times in each state.
